The Crypto- Keepers Thoughts

I recently read an article about how the FBI tried to payoff a developer of Telegram. It can be found here: https://thebaffler.com/salvos/the-crypto-keepers-levine 

Some really interesting points and stories were brought up in the article. One of them was, as previously stated, of the FBI coming and talking to the founder of telegraph and a developer who were in the United States for Google I/O 2016. The length at which the FBI try to talk and persuade him to give information about its users.

One other very informative bit was of the history of the CIA/Government’s efforts to control every form of communication and have the ability to listen to it all. Radio, to the internet, to any technology company, they wanted back doors to all of it.

If you are in the technology field and are a supporter of privacy (users of signal and tor) I would HIGHLY recommend reading this article. At the very least you will get to see another perspective on the privacy field and the hand of the government. Remember, nothing is as it seems.
